Antonia Valentina Herbort was born in 2000 and is a proud member of the controversial Generation Z. For the Hamburg native, being a fashion journalist means deciphering the interaction between fashion, people and the zeitgeist. In her work, Valentina is particularly fascinated by things that only become apparent at second glance. Whether psychological, cultural or historical backgrounds - she has been successfully communicating the fact that fashion is much more than mere appearance on her social media channels ever since. She is annoyed by outdated dress codes, the arrogance of some fashionistas and anyone who takes themselves too seriously. That is why she is particularly keen to encourage everyone to use fashion for themselves and, above all, to enjoy it. That's why she's not there to flex her knowledge, but to learn something herself and is really looking forward to having a good time with everyone and having fun with fashion, definitely without the fear of judgy looks or embarrassing questions, I promise.
The FABRIC Fashion Review is entering its first round, for the first time in cooperation with the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg.
Fashion journalist Antonia Valentina Herbort takes you on a journey through the history of one of the most influential houses in the fashion world: Maison Margiela. Founded by Martin Margiela, it still characterises the cut, concept and attitude of international fashion today. We take a look at the origins, turning points and lasting influence of the house - and get talking.
Come along, immerse yourself and join in the discussion.
Important: The event will take place in the Freiraum of MK&G Steintorplatz 1, 20099 Hamburg.
A co-operation between FABRIC and the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg.
